I want NWM obviously but I'd be very wary about giving up Whitlock unless we're not giving much else up.
Who won the Judd trade?
I just don't think you trade away blue chip key forwards unless you're getting an absolute bargain.
I'd much prefer to trade ollie or drew than whitlock. Its about building a list for the next flag. St kilda lack miss.
It's strange how many here have fallen for this mentality. The idea we need to give up a promising young player cause that’s what you do to bring in talent is totally disconnected with reality.

Yes I am sure Saints want our duds for a current top 10 player in the comp lol.Yep.
We’ve got tradable players who should have interest for saints as sweeteners.
I’ve mentioned them today.
Lorenz moraes as young prospects. Lord as a young kpf. Failing them there’s established first 22 footballers in drew and jones.
This is on top of draft picks we have to trade.
So what? Port should just cater to whatever St Kilda demands and that's that?Yes I am sure Saints want our duds for a current top 10 player in the comp lol.
Everyone of the players you just listed would attract a 3rd or 4th rounder at best, however more than likely delisted some of them.
You are not going to get NWM without giving up something of value.
Huh? He’s a star. We will have to trade some value for him. It’s as simple as that. I swear we have some of the biggest bedwetters on this forum. He is unreal, he will be our 2nd best, if not best player next year. Who gives two shits if we give up a young unproven KPF along with some good picks. So what? Port should just cater to whatever St Kilda demands and that's that?

If St Kilda suggested to Port give us Butters, 2026 1st rounder, Joe Berry, Jack Whitlock for NWM, you'll be okay for that to happen? After all, Port are "giving up something" to get something.Huh? How many games of his have you actually watched?
Comments on here like, “he’s flakey”, “he’s just a HBF’er” are just unreal. He is 22 and taking the comp by storm.
Not one of those players are even remotely close to the level of NWM lol. Like not even in the same stratosphere haha. This is gonna be a laugh.
I mentioned a bunch of players we’ve lost that have been poached by other teams.
Polec , burgs , Howard , impey , wingard and Houston.
Name the players of value we got in return.
I’ll wait…
You okay dude?If St Kilda suggested to Port give us Butters, 2026 1st rounder, Joe Berry, Jack Whitlock for NWM, you'll be okay for that to happen? After all, Port are "giving up something" to get something.

Wingard when traded was not the same Wingard as the first few years. NWM is 6 years younger than Houston, so don’t compare them either.
Howard, Impey and Polec, now I know you are trolling and have zero clue.
We are looking to give up a quality young player because we don’t have the draft capital to get NWM. It’s as simple as that. We don’t have a first rounder this year don’t forget and next years alone will not get the job done. Whitlock actually playing a great game today does wonders for this potential trade option. If we can somehow convince the Saints that Whitlock and next years first is close, that would be unreal.Your argument isn’t nwm is better than other players , it’s that we have to give up a quality young player to get quality.
Name the quality players we got in return for the poached players we lost I mentioned.
Are you okay? Key Forwards don't grow on trees. You want to keep persisting with Lord and Finlayson next year? Keep giving games to them in the hopes they will take their chances? Are you gonna suggest Port will get Cochrane and Pilot in the following years and therefore Whitlock can be used as trade bait? Or are you gonna suggest Port can find a DFA and fill the gap until then those two develop? You okay dude?
Don't think Butters is as nailed on to leave as some think hereI agree Butters is the better player - he’s the closest thing I have seen to a footballing genius - but NAS is very good, is a few years younger, and if we think we are going to lose Butters anyway I think it’s worth discussing
Last time I checked, Collingwood weren't in a position to acquire Houston and look what happened and what they gave up in the end for a contracted player? No first rounders, fringe player and pick swaps and Houston was shipped off to Collingwood. We are looking to give up a quality young player because we don’t have the draft capital to get NWM. It’s as simple as that. We don’t have a first rounder this year don’t forget and next years alone will not get the job done.
C4where did the whitlock talk start?
