Interesting on Gettable today, apparently Bergman "waited and got information" before re-signing with Port. I assume that information related to Nas.

You never know with Koch etc... best to make sure.I thought it was well agreed that Carr was taking over?
He’d just ask Butters? You never know with Koch etc... best to make sure.
It was probably Butters he wanted confirmation on.
Who may have still been deciding? He’d just ask Butters?
That’s not it at all. They are independent scenarios. If anything, if we get Nas, he’s more likely to stay. What is the inside feel on Butters? We get the sense that what he decides to do will have a big impact on what happens. I imagine if he says he wants to go back to Victoria that it will either mean he comes to us (which I think is less likely) or he goes to Hawks/Dogs etc and whatever you get for him is passed on to us. Nas' manager could then say to Nas, Port and us that a deal could theoretically be done.

And I imagine Carr would want to see them in the same side.
Good contribution there. You must be in that % range of deranged and talking about yourself. Congratswtf that’s worse than most of the saints trade suggestions.
Just shows every board has 10-40% of deranged posters. Most fit somewhere in the middle of reasonable with a bit of bias. And maybe 5% are purely objective and reasonable.
IF we were top 4 at the moment there would be intense pressure from the media to sign him again. And Koch and Co would have caved for sure. One of the reasons I'm not hugely bothered with this shit year.I thought it was well agreed that Carr was taking over?

Hawks go after everyone decent. They don’t always get them. I imagine every Victorian club is asking the question.I think anyone would want them in the same side. Just going by what the media is saying in particular what Tom Morris reported recently on Hawks going after Butters.
As long as we are not Bottom 4 this time next year he will re-sign with us. If we are a basket case we will probably let him go happily to where he wants to go on big cash and do a small re-build like in 2018. I don't see any world where he goes this year. What is the inside feel on Butters? We get the sense that what he decides to do will have a big impact on what happens. Vic media want him to leave and come home. Therefore it appears to the masses as that is what is going to happen. However there is absolutely zero indication Butters wants to leave. In fact the opposite, he absolutely loves the club, is vice captain and has a great relationship with Carr. At the very worst case, he will be playing for Port next year before leaving, however I can’t see that happening. If we do get Nas, that would just strengthen his chance of staying. What is the inside feel on Butters? We get the sense that what he decides to do will have a big impact on what happens. Because he was doing an interview and was asked about it. And his comment was that he was confident that list management team could get a deal done.and why is he discussing playing list matters….
Who's that guy in your avatar? I'd struggle to name 10 St Kilda players, but whoever it is, he looks like the quintessential St Kilda player.I think anyone would want them in the same side. Looks like the spawn of something Warney rooted at the Saints disco. It's Alix Tauru--the Flying Viking!
Would you prefer Peatling and Cumming or NWM?Both walk up starts in the 22 for the top 2 teams on the ladder. Meanwhile we're rolling out with the likes of Mead, McEntee and up to 6 weeks ago a full-time fridgey.
Yep - Funerals on FridayHave we lost yet?
