MISS SCARLATTI (NZ) (STRAVINKSY [USA]/CRIMSON [NZ]):
She just cantered this morning. She has done really well since her great win on Saturday her coat is really starting to come through now and her appetite is outstanding , she is coping in training really well. I am looking forward to running her in the 2000m Norman Robinson on Saturday week.

Hey was just wondering if anyone knows what is going on with Sousa, It was in the Derby market the other day and registered in the AAMI vase this weekend at Moonee Valley, went to place some Money on it for the Derby as i have followed this horse for a while, but to my suprise it was not longer on the betting market, thought it was a little strange so i did some searching on the net and no betting market has Sousa for the Derby, tried to find some news on the horse to see if it was injured and found nothing, then found out that the Sousa is still registered for this weekend. Was just wondering if anyone knew if the horse is injured or any news on why it looks like its not running in the derby?

Matt, pretty sure I read something quoting Peter Snowden saying the Vase was about as far as Sousa wanted to go this prep, wasnt quite up to running the Derby trip, so after this weekends race the horse will go for a spell.
