Never. Fred did kick me off the GD board for a couple of days for what he took as racism or something like that. It wasn't but he didn't like whatever it was.

Being a mod for around 10 years helps I guess.

I took up facebook in the early days. Probably still have an account but never look at it.

I have insta - because my family discovered it and asked me to join the fun, but it’s a massive pest for all sorts of embarrassing reasons.

I expect it has to do with the fact that our vital organs can't rejuvenate themselves in the same way plants can.

The post worthy of the card was the one I'd quoted but the quote broke and it looked like I'd written it

It got withdrawn once that got sorted out

Fred was a special guy though Grizz was another from that time sadly no longer with us

Got on great with Grizz, he was prolific for a couple of years, took time off and came back for a bit.

Not exactly. It happened within 2 hours of my signing up. It was basically my user name Proper Gander - I chose it because while lurking another poster kept talking about propaganda, but spelling it proper gander. And he was dead set for real, not being funny. And i created an account and called it proper gander because i liked it (also because it’s my birth name obviously). Unfortunately the timing led to an assumption that I was an alt taking the piss, and I got cancelled by Doss.
