Yeah I realise that- but imho it mainly all began when we got that home final. I got a real sense of nastiness from everyone in general around that time and it's just carried on from that. Anyway dm- all that was a fair while ago now.

In other news- I think I'm getting sick. Would be a just way to end this craptacular season by being too ill to attend our final match.

Richmond's last two finals appearances sure are something to be proud of, too - a loss to a side that didn't actually earn its finals place and then a smashing by Port Adelaide a year later. Impressive.

Yeah, that home final was bullshit. Not that we didn't deserve it- all of our "home" finals should be played at Simonds- but the stupid AFL came out and said it was because it was Freo (smaller crowd expected) that we got the game at Simonds or something so everyone got shitty on the GFC who'd not asked for the final but copped all the flak from it.

We actually SHOULD have had second pick of venues but third and fourth level finals HAD to be played in Melb as a priority because they had no alternative venue. what pissed me off the most was that we'd have probably been a better chance against Freo at the G.

Oh- and after having a big cry about it, Lyon came out and gave his "anywhere, anytime" speech and everyone hated us because they all felt sorry for the whingers.

Greatest non-Geelong final ever!

Richmond's first finals appearance in 12 years and they lose to a side that finished 9th. I had to have surgery to reattach my sides after that result
