The last time I didn't go to Boxing Day was about 1998 and I ain't letting some pissy rain shower stop me.

Attempt 1: Fetch.
Dog fetches brings back item and growls at me.
Rinse repeat this 3 times (I have 2 items to throw). Growls each time.

Attempt 2: Sit and shake hands.
Dog sits.
Stares blankly at me when I request the shake hands.
