Look this is what I'm going to do. Go on my own.

And offer him to move in and rent (and i will give him a good deal on rent) he doesnt like that option tough t***ies.
Maybe make him pay a shit tonne more by including utilities in the bill. Makes it easier for him. Generally at worst with 2 people it's an extra 30 bucks a week... but split internet

I cant believe the a hole left her at Wimbledon. She's 17, and he just tells her to **** off because she lost the semi final.

At 17.

The guy comes from a different planet/time obviously. And is mental.
The actual ****.

Jelena Dokic- was abused regularly by her father. Both physical and mental. She's come out with the whole story now, I was bagging tennis Oz for not doing anything.
Wow it just gets ****ing worse. He didn't sexually abuse her, right?? Hopefully not..

My flatmate has never shared food.

Its pretty simple- fridge/cupboards get divided up. Dont touch their shit unless you ask.

And that happens very rarely.

yh same thing here but **** me I get offers of someone else's feed nearly every damn meal they have as i continuously go to the kitchen daily for 10l of water as you know

Do housemates share food? I mean I know they occasionally offer something they make like friends would but I thought they generally just split the cupboard and fridge space with their own shit
I never had any arguments over any food ever, but no **** would ever clean up at times. I don't have to have the place spotless but when there's crap everywhere all the time it infuriating.

Sometimes we'd agree to go in together for tea and we'd just share like milk, butter. But the rest we had or own stuff.

edit - we didn't even really care if someone took something of yours whilst you were out, just as long as it was only a bit and not the last bit. For example if you had a pack of biscuits yeah take a couple who cares but don't like eat all of them or take the remaining 2.

difference is tho Seashell im guessing your housemate was or is a mate previously

for me, ive lived with 19 different faces who started out as complete strangers who've moved in and out over the past 17 months. Made some good/trusty friends over the journey, only didn't like 1 of the people in this time as they were just a shit stirrer. No one likes them. Met about 30 others who checked the joint out but the landlord didn't like lol. It's sad seeing some come & go but you remain mates forever to different levels depending on the friendship formed.

Rent is cheap as **** too considering I got the onsuite with free Foxtel Sports and utilities included. And a fridge it's just me bottles are too big for the tap in the bathroom!!!!

And i honestly do not want to live alone. I know me- and I'd get incredibly lonely. Having said that, I am happy enough in my own company- its not like me and my flatmate hang out 24/7- actually its pretty much the exact opposite.

And sharing a mortgage >>>> one on my own. I actually cannot afford it on my own.
I moved in to my sister's 4 x 2 house in 06 on my own after living with 2 other people for years. Same weekend not only had I also changed jobs after 2 years to lose your work mates but around the same two regular friends moved away for work. **** that was weird the first weekend just sitting there on your in a big place with almost no furniture.. pretty tough at the start but after a while got used to it and got along with my apprentice that lived pretty close. Then after about 9 months someone moved in back and in with us.

If you share a mortgage with someone are you both liable to split it? Like do both of you have massive loans in your own personal accounts that is a split 50/50 price each or is it like a single account that you both have access to and need to pay back and if someone just bails, stops paying, you're screwed and stuck with it unless you sell up?

After the first week cheered myself up and spent 2.5K on a new TV, computer, lounge and a gas heater.
Do you still live with others now or are you alone? 1/2 of an acre is the size of my current address land and 1/2 of my next door neighbours. Would be lonely I reckon.

Yeah atm but got family members in town plus a couple of mates like less than 1 minutes drive away so it's fine.

In Perth whilst the house was in a great suburb near the beach it was a fair way out away not near anyone I knew at all. Totally different.

Shell do you know how long it usually takes for the DE police check to come through, was gonna help out with some afternoon swimming lessons the next 2 weeks but only realised it was needed recently and put it in last Thursday morning. Hopefully can at least do a few hours the 2nd week I guess.

I think we would have separate loans.

That way if one of us ****s up our jobs or something cant pay it back it doesnt effect the other person? You are 100% liable for your own loan

Well she's written a book and unless she's withholding certain information, I doubt it. It's her story, you wouldnt not tell the whole truth imho.
