Why start another thread when there's already one about the player ?
Is it because you're an attention seeking dumb c**t ?

yeah i agree this YOTC woman is stupid, knows nothing about cricket.
Do not start stupid threads like this.

Re: Hodge won't make it at Test Level.

Rubbish.

Hodge would easily make it for any other team and be a solid batsmen.

Problem is hes 31 and there are aussies out there that are younger and better and more dynamic. He needs/needed a big ton to cement his spot - hussey got it instead.

Re: Hodge won't make it at Test Level.

Give Hodgey a break it annoys me how people are already judging him after only 3 stints at the crease.

People call for players heads after one bad innings on this site, it's nothing new ;)

Good luck YOTC, you've got a 50% chance of looking like a d*ckhead, 50% of looking like a legend ;) BTW, I think it's funny how, now that your man the Huss has confirmed his place in the side, you can breathe a sigh of relief and start bagging Hodge. After 2 poor innings from Huss, there was no thread predicting his international failure was there?

Huss was always going to succeed, he was born to play for Australia and i rate him as our best one day cricketer and a very good test player.
Hodge on the other hand may not get enough chances due to his age, if he fails now, like Elliot did in his 2nd stint, it will all be over.

Creedy boy had one predicting he would never play another test. Thats creedy though, he just likes stirring ********.

Re: Hodge won't make it at Test Level.

There is every chance he won't, with Clarke making runs & Cosgrove also.
He may very well get out cheaply to Safr 2-4 times and get dropped.

Hodge and Hussey are practically the same age and Hodge has a higher Pura Cup average than Hussey

Hodge > Hussey

Hodge > Hussey

yeah its probably hard to separete the batsmen realistically, but at the moment Hussey ********s all over Hodge form wise, and reputation wise.

Hussey has also had that extra test to get settled in, dont forget he failed miserably first up

Best to wait till the end of the summer

Hodge was disappointing again today in the one-dayer.

This thread is about him not making it at Test level. If he makes another couple of low scores in the Test arena, then bag him.

What about Gilly today?

Re: Hodge won't make it at Test Level.

Hodge is probably going to get the first 2 tests against the Saffies at least. It'll be out of him or Symonds that may get dropped during the Saffies tests with Cosgrove the likely man putting pressure on those 2.

Symonds is sh*t. He is an average bat and an average bowler. His only real plus is his fielding. Perhaps he can be the Australian designated fielder, England style.

Hodge is already a mile in front of Symonds.
