Absolute disgrace that tex didn't go, even if he is contracted for 07. Cam and Flaps both hard done by (relatively speaking).

surely we were better off keeping fanning or cc than tex "gun stuck in holster" walker... gees.. i wonder what mick and the boys have in mind for our 2007 campaign? no tarrant.... fraser alone ( assuming richards misses most of the season as usual.....didak out injured till god knows when... burns and wakes on their last legs (not really a springboard to the flag).. rusling promising, but hasnt performed as yet... rocca in trouble now that tarrant is gone...... licca ?? not to sure about licca... we'd wanna hope and pray our big guns stay in good nic this year, also that the young ones mature quickly...

Any Pies fan who thinks we will improve on this years result, needs to open both eyes.

I don't see anything, but us going backward a little next year.

8-12 is my tip.

There are a lot of potential areas where we can and might improve. Lots of young guys that we would hope and expect to improve.

In terms of 2006 we won 14 games which yes will be tough to maintain, but if we can hopefully it would net a top 4 spot unlike our 5th finish this year.

12-14 wins I'd hope for.

I was thinking 8-12th positions, not wins.

We don't have any tap ruckman - we'll be last in hitouts next year.

we were last in hiouts in 02 03 aswell, and we made the finals, but next year, i cant see us winning more than 8-10 games, we have no real dominant mid 20s player bar fraser and didak, we hav to wait a few years til the likes of thommo pendles trav and shaw get a lil bit older before we can start contending for the flag

I think the key for you guys, apart from Fraser staying fit, is Rusling.

If he can produce what he is capable of, you'll have an immediate upgrade on Tarrant's 2006 output.

It does seem pretty clear that you are looking to the future.

All you need is 10-15% inprovement in your current list for movement up the ladder. Who would have picked Dane Swan or Heath Shaw this year? This time last year, Dane Swan would have coped the same end of the stick as what Tex Walker is getting this year from most people on here... SO in saying that, you don't really need a real dominant mid-20s player, you just need improvement across the board.

IMO 8-10 wins would be considered an absolute failure and if that happens, I would chop 3/4 of the list cos it would indicate that there isn't a great deal of talent there...or room for improvment.

How many wins - 8 to 12?

Anything less than 12 wins would be pretty disappointing for mine based on where I think we are at and the talent we have.

We finsihed 5th this year but cuold of easily finshed 8th, we proabaly deserved to finsih 8th this year, and with agein stars n injuries and suspension i cant see us wining more than 8 games

10-15% improvement in Walker will see him have a chance at cracking the Willi seniors!

We'll be lucky to make the 8.

We will obviously be aiming for a flag, and will ensure that the powers that be demand that effort from the players (and probably tell us that too), but behind the scenes we are rebuilding intelligently.
