Davies gets an encouragement award. Rookies work their arse off. From the minutes I saw of him on the telly, he looked to be very rough skills wise.
Tex is a logical inclusion without Presti and given their McPharlin + Longmuir up forward capability.
Woey is better than O'Bree. No doubt IMO. Plus he can be traded back home if he plays well. Knowing Malthouse though, he'll drop Rowe for Woe!

Don't be suprised if Davies plays....i can just see it happening.

Like figgy says Davies is a very rough and raw midfielder.
He has got pace and likes the contest.
Was ok two weeks ago for Willy (I attended) and named in the best last week.
The selectors may adopt the approach that Davies won't be a promoted rookie for much longer so may decide to give him a try.

Dont know how much weight this holds but on the footy show, Eddie said that Presti,Cam Cloke, Ben Johnson and Morrison are all doubtfull starters.

Gotta admit this has surprised me. Perhaps this theory is correct, either Fanning or Davies needs to get droppped back to the rookie list in the next month when Bucks returns, and the selectors are going to giving Davies an oppportunity to state his case. A bit like a job interview.

cam cloke and chad are doubtful but i dont think they are out yet
good luck to Ben Davies, hopefully he goes well....fair enough dropping Yak, i didnt see a great deal in him just yet and to be fair he has only been playing mostly Willy seconds so to jump up to Collingwood is a big step up for an 18-19 year old....he will play again this season most likely
