Unless Mayo is willing to come off the bench and be the main weapon with the second unit, we are better off with the likes of:

Afflalo: Although we'd have to seriously overpay to get him.

JR Smith: Despite being exceptionally ******* on defense, I believe he'd be a better fit than OJ.

Lee: Probably fits better than OJ but I'd be tempted to go with OJ and try integrate him into Thibs system instead.

Intresting with JJ being traded for a first rounder today. we are linked to the following players

Mayo
Affalo
JR Smith
Lee
Parker

hopefully we get mayo i would prefer one of the top 3 with lee and parker last resort.

The only one of those I would look at is JR Smith but he is a headcase. I have actually changed my tune to a wait and see approach unless we get a bargain.

You have absolutely NO chance of getting Afflalo unless you are going to trade Rose for him? Other than that Nuggets list him as untouchable.

Also after his play this year would rather keep on to JR. The stuff about him being shit on defense is quite wrong now. Even if you watched today he has defiantly become a respectful defender to what he was.

tmac knees are crappy. they gave him a work out in the off season. A mayo rose noah core would be insane for the next 5-10 years. Mayo works out with derrick every off season.

i would do

Scala+Taj+Charlotte 1st Rounder + Cash for Mayo

then sign barron to be a bench warmer and sign another big or pg with mle in the off season. we still have thomas and asik.

Oh, come on. He can man up once in a while, but he's still a total space cadet in terms of defensive schemes (well, offensive schemes too).

Would have loved to see him as a starter for the rest of the year, but probably not to be.

Players directly above Mayo in PER include:

Cook, Brian
Hill, Jordan
Harrington, Al
Henderson, Gerald
Meeks, Jodie
Neal, Gary
Williams, Shawne

And on par with him are;
Childress, Josh
Pekovic, Nikola (Nikola?! Really?)
Thornton, AL

Yep, I'd be trading away Gibson + A lottery pick + cash for him as well.

He has done some nice jobs this year. Of course he isnt an Afflalo or Hill etc but he is much better than what he was a year ago, but yeah he will still gamble a bit and swipe when not needed leading to and1 chances.

Not sure if he will start or not doubt it, but today he looked really nice he attacked the basket and took good shots (was a couple ugh shots) but he was under control played PG for a little bit and overall was a big reason we won.

PER is a stupid stat. Every time i've seen mayo play he has been good. plus he will be a allstar next season if he comes to us.

Heat Make Mike Miller Available
Feb 23, 2011 00:15 AM EST

The Heat have shopped Mike Miller in their search for an upgrade at either point guard or center, according to multiple sources.

Miller is in the first year of a five-year, $29 million contract.

One executive said the Heat have been calling around but just "don’t have much they can trade."

Miami is ultimately more likely to sign a player who is bought out than to complete a significant trade.

Miller is taking up 5 million a year and he may not give much more than what they are getting out of Jones/House in terms of outside shooting.

He is the only asset they have so Im not surprised they are using him as bait to upgrade centre/PG.

Who would want Miller and who wants to be the team that send Heat over the top Gasol style?

I would be calling Memphis if I were Pat Riley.

lol lol lol

Here is a crazy thought.... What about TMac for cash considerations of $3.99?

Ray Allen next year... we will give his Mum courtside seats next to Pippen - thats an upgrade from Boston

Wish list =

Kevin Martin
Monta Ellis
Eric Gordon
Wesley Matthews
Michael Jordan

You are no chance to get Wes either, unless your willing to overpay badly( Noah would be nice):p

what a backcourt

Everyones thoughts on the possible Devin Harris Dre Miller trade?

From a Blazer point of view, we get younger and better defensively, but Harris has had health issues, and Dre has certainly helped LMA out this year via lob passes etc

My Grandma runs faster than Dre. I would take Harris anyday.
