I am just so so regretting a couple of trades I made at the start of the season. One being trading out Bird for Geary after Rd 1 As this is my first year playing, didn't read this board properly and wasn't sure of how the player value system worked

Do nothing for a few weeks, while you have used a lot of trades the team is actually quite decent. You won't be copping any 0s by the look of it, which is more than most. Realistically you can keep the majority of that team, with just palmer/masten being upgraded. Just sit tight, put Reiwolt on the bench for rioli/gamble and wait till he comes back.

Thinking of upgrading Brent Stanton (BE 154) to Joel Corey (Lowest price you would think he would get to @ 425,000) next week.

Symes & Mattner are weak links down back, hopefully Symes returns within a few weeks, then Mattner & Palmer are to be upgraded in Rounds 9 & 10 barring further injury.

Any suggestions, comments appreciated.

Happy that I have avoided 0's for now!!! Suprisingly my fwd line has done ok considering the lack of class IMO. Quite happy with Mids, but question marks for Stanton...(should be keeper though). Hopefully the two Bench defenders (Chornes and Symes) come back sooner rather than later.

Honestly think Palmer is Keeper and do fine as 6th mid...will upgrade in future if able to.

Morton > Browne gives me $150,000 to play with for:

Rioli (BE 52) or Gamble (BE 19) > BJ
I would prefer to keep Rioli as 7th fwd but his BE suggests he is the better one to trade off, and BJ is not going to be this cheap ever again.

who should I get rid of...Gamble or Rioli?

No point mate, your forward line is very solid. Trades are invaluable come the end of the year so don't blow them now, injuries and the like add up quick. Its not like your scores have suffered anyway with all those forwards doing well, you shouldn't have any problem getting chapman later on anyway if you still want him and have the trade to do it, plenty of cows to cash in.
