Last time I went to Thailand, we had just won the flag.
Couple of months ago, I'd booked a November holiday to Thailand.

2010, my mates who I watch every GF with were unable to get together that year.
This year, my mates again can't get together.

You're all welcome!

Obviously it's Hawks 2015:

Lost to Eagles in QF in Perth by 32 points

Won the Semi Final

Won the Preliminary Final against the side finishing top (Fremantle) having kicked 5.2 in the first quarter

Won the Grand Final against the Eagles by ten plus goals

Fast forward to 2018:

We lost to Eagles by 16 points in Perth in QF (should have won to be honest)

Won the Semi Final

Won the Preliminary Final against the side finishing top (Richmond) having kicked 5.2 in the first quarter

Can we double the winning margin of Hawthorn in a Grand Final? We would beat the Geelong margin in 2007 then....

We also came from 13th to make the Grand Final, and playing off against a team finishing higher than us, as the Bulldogs did in 2016, and the Tigers did in 2017. Richmond also finished third, as we have. Both teams won, and Shpeshal Ed had a mate who predicted this.

These premiers have also played the Dockers in Perth late in the season, as the Magpies did in 2018.

Don't even get me started on the dreams I have been having

Repost from the week before (updated for accuracy):-

An omen too good to ignore:-

2015
Hawks finished 3rd - lost the qualifying final (in Perth), came back to win their Semi Final against the team that finished 7th and then beat the minor premiers in the Preliminary final to go on and take flag.

2018
Collingwood finished 3rd - lost the qualifying final (in Perth), came back to win their Semi Final against the team that finished 7thand then beat the minor premiers in the Preliminary final...

In 2010, Swan polled 24 votes in the Brownlow
We won the Flag

In 2018, Sidebottom polled 24 votes in the Brownlow
We.......

This one appears to be a bolt on to my one posted earlier in the thread. Whenever we play off in a Grand Final and one of our players is in the running but doesn't win, we win the flag. When they DO win the Brownlow, we lose the Grand Final.

In 2016, the Bulldogs' winning score was 13.11(89) - exactly what Collingwood's winning score was in 1990.
In 2017, the Tigers' winning score was 16.12(108) - exactly what Collingwood's winning score was in 2010.

Holy shit that one is incredible.

West Coast have a good one.

They've won the flag whenever the year of the Dog came around. Which is also this year.

Welp.

Hahaha ...

... let’s leave them cling onto that one (1992 was the year of the monkey)

I know.

But the Omen goes that since they've been in the comp, they've won the flag each year of the Dog (which I think has only been 3 times including 2018?)

Could also throw in that in 2016 Finals Dogs beat GWS, 2017 Finals Richmond beat GWS and 2018 Finals Collingwood beat GWS...

Yeah such a good call. I only wish it had have been GWS in the semi, but then the symmetry remains as you say!

Poor GWS. They are going to lose some players themselves at season's end. Dylan Shiel is looking at four Melbourne clubs. Anyone know if one of those is Collingwood? :praying:

Do we need him?
Can we afford him?
May vs Shiel? May every day
