One Step At A Time - Next Step

There is no doubt we have made some major improvements this year, the disapointment of last week against Essendon to the improvement and win versus Richmond.

Of the many goals we have some obvious mental hurdles that appear to me:

- ability to play the Dome
- ability to defeat St Kilda
- ability to play four quarters

The four quarters and Dome are a mental conditioning issue, with the Dome being a stigma of recent years.

The issue of facing St Kilda on a Friday night stage at the MCG is something special, in particular a home game.

We have a real opportunity as a club and supporter base to do something we have not done for awhile and that is beat St Kilda.

The scene is set, we still feel the anger of the game we dropped against Essendon after the euphoria of beating Collingwood, and as I type away, 5 minutes into the second quarter of Kangaroos versus St Kilda, the roos lead by 34 - 3.

They are there for the taking, we have the chance on a big stage to take the next step, lets ensure that the players turn up and give it to them, and lets make sure the supporters turn up and help them achieve their goal....
