When looking at Top 100 or whatever songs of all time you will usually see U2 - One very near the top and Metallica nowhere to be found.

It's obvious you are just being a **** not judging the songs on their merits, just trying to take a cheap stab at Metallica for their Napster indescretion, which may I point out had nothing to do with you seeing as Napster isn't available in Australia.

Correct me If I'm wrong, but it was available in Aus until it got shut down due to the pressure of people like Metallica was it not?

Fair point, but the real issue is that U2 just plain suck. They've never come out with anything the least bit creative or interesting. Bloody borefest.

Hard call - i don't rank either band because on many occasion they put themselves above the music.

i rate them as a quality band, im just not interested in them one bit because that is just my taste in music and it doesnt include U2.

i do however believe that their song One is extremely overrated. I had heard so much hype about it so i eventually got myself a copy just to see why it was so popular and it seemed to be nothing special.

also, i personally cant stand Bono but ill admit that Hetfield aint exactly the most lovable person ever
