OMFG... i just youtubed Tapscott's highlights from the NAB Champs final last year... he can absolutely roost the ball!!!
look at 0.35, 1.10, 2.50, 3.35!!!! at 1.10 he kicks it more than 60 metres!!! imagine him with a couple of AFL years!!

Exactly right - we'll all have to keep that in mind as he (Gawn) develops and be patient about it. It took the Russky 5-6 years before he really began to hit his straps, of course.

From people I have spoken to we are very much looking to get some Chappy out of Tapscott. Hard at it mid/flanker, with a big kick, and a knack for getting the footy. The thing he shows over Chappy from his highlights is his ability to tackle. Looks like he enjoys hurting blokes when he tackles.
And as for Gawn. Well he was probably going to go higher in the draft if not for his knee injury. His kicking ability is highly regarded for such a big bloke, and can take a really good grab. He has put on a fair amount of wieght since joining the club, or at least he certainly looks like he has.
To add to Scully, Trengove, and Jizz, we have mentioned Gawn and Tapscott, and add to that the Giraffe man. Fitzy was touted as being a top 10 pick until he got Chronic Fatigue. He has put a lot of work into managing that, and looks the goods. Saw him doing some kicking and running at training a few backs now, and he is bloody quick for 200cm, and was a dead eye dik with his kicking.
One hell of a draft!
