Again with the "how much do you charge for corporate functions?". Have to admit I'm getting a bit shat with Mike and his apparent disdain for the people that have been kind enough to donate their time for his show.. presumably for free.
Yeah I thought that was a strange question to ask AGAIN. Who gives a stuff.

Still haven't seen the Jason Akermanis one. If anyone knows of a link that would be great. And yes, I've tried googling it multiple times and nada.

Why would it be for free?

Well I guess it may not be. That's just a personal presumption. Whether they've been paid or not though is kind of irrelevant. The show shouldn't be about Mike judging them and their careers and it really seems to me that that's what it's become over recent weeks. He needs to understand that he's not the star of the show and he's not why people tune in each week.

The show isn't called Open Mike's Guest.

Was Capper ever the best player or even top 10 in the comp? Obviously you have to be talented to kick the amount of goals he did but I always hear about his personality and not the calibre of footballer he was.

He was the Fevola of the day, kicked goals in a good team for 3-4 years. He was limited by his kicking length but was a magnificent mark.
He didn't cause issues off the field and most of his theatrics have happened after he retired. Great marketing tool for Sth Melb/Sydney swans

He wasn't as good as Fevola but he was a good full forward and obviously could take big screamer's. A prime Greg William's feeding you the ball helps also, as far as his goal tally go's.
I do think he should be in Sydney's all time best team though due to the huge impact he had on and off field while he was there.

he caused less problems for the Swans than fevola did for Carlton and Brisbane. I wouldn't say Fevola was a better player. Fevola was a much better kick from a distance, but the Wiz was as spectacular as any player going for 3 good years. As he said in the interview and he wasn't lying Brisbane Bears players snubbed him because of his pay packet and because they were hopeless. He had a good career. i know a bloke who went through the U/19s with him at sth Melb and reckoned he was a ripping fella.

Of course not, Lockett is by far the best full forward I ever saw play the game and Pratt was obviously a legend also. However I mean an all-time Sydney team, like say from 1980 onward's when the Club relocated. Player's who represented Sydney not Sth. Melbourne. Just name him alongside Lockett, in a pocket or somewhere, at least on the bench.
He deserves the recognition even just for the spotlight he put on the team during his time there.

I believe what has been said about Brisbane player's snubbing him, jealous about what he was being paid. In those day's, I can absolutely imagine that happening. However in my opinion Fevola was a far better all around full forward than Capper, all except for the specky mark value. If you put Fevola in that Sydney side, back in that era, more space for a forward and had guy's like Williams, Healy, Murphy and Mitchell feeding him the ball! He's kicking well over 100 goal's and not needing final's to reach the mark.

i agree and they put him in the hall of fame

Take away all the side show that came with Capper & had he stayed with the Swans & Capper would have been recognised as a pretty special forward to have played the game.

Capper was phenomenal in the air against some of the best ever defenders that were allowed to get away with all the tricks of the trade.
He made some very good points along with the continuous sideshow. He was so good for the club for that short time as far as attracting attention to our club & then he performed on the big stage when the crowds came.

Just have a look at the footage of the crowds in the back ground. There was Capper & there was Lockett.
We are a little different now!
