he seems pretty bitter and angry in his older age. did you see the part when Mike asked him about the time he spent with Chopper. so the story goes they had a bitter falling out because Chopper saw Jacko taking more than his share of the takings

30 years went by in the blink of an eye.
He wore out his welcome at most clubs after a year or two.
Too busy clowning around to become the full on AFL player.

Some people just do not want to take on everything you need to do to be a footballer at the elite level.
We've actually seen youngsters retire after a year or two in recent years simply because they can see it was too much for them to take on.
Similarly Allen Jakovich left league footy early as it was too serious for him.
But Jacko was just full on extrovert. You only have to hear what he was up to at his last club St.Kilda to know he could not toe the line.
Surprised he got to 88 games in retrospect. Did not realise he lasted in system that long but guess it was still a time when players were not fully professional. Players like Laurence Angwin last even less time now.

I thought Mike failed real early. When it was mentioned about Jackos dad Mike had an opportunity to apologise. Jacko was nearly emotional at that point.
