I love the indigenous place names, much better than the English shyte we got stuck with.

Gundagai, Parramatta, Goondiwindi, Mandurang, Mooroolbark etc.

Be great if all of our town/city signs had the original names for places on them as well as the modern ones, like they do in Ireland where they really value their ancient history much better than we do in Oz.
