They’d only won 1 of their last 4 against GWS and that was the final giants led by 40 in

Brisbane vs Freo next week, lucky it’s not us tbh
They don't look as motivated. Hunger seems gone, not working hard. Freo could touch them up next week too.

Unbelievable quarter. Haha. We looked gold yesterday in that last quarter compared to Lions right now (not really, we were awful too).

This is a good old fashioned flogging. Can never right the Lions off but top 4 is looking very unlikely. On the other hand giants could do some damage if they can get a close to full team by the end of season.

One of the fox programs during the week had brisbanes points against in the danger zone of missing the 8.

With today’s result, they would be done

Brisbane getting touched up by the one side they rarely beat
And they've got the ladder leading Dockers next week. So it's likely Brisbane will be in horrendous form going into the QClash against us and we should be fresh from the bye + motivated to beat them on our sold out home ground after what happened yesterday. Another positive is this Lions loss will keep us in the top 6 regardless of whether the Dees win later today.

So we've got good reason to enjoy this performance from Brisbane.

Yesterday was bad but we often forget it could always be worse.

Still coming to terms with yesterday's loss mate haha, just venting
Chin up 😉 we played some good footy, Anderson is back in form, Rowell is getting back to full fitness and walter is getting better. Bring it on.
All clubs in top half are going to have some unexpected losses, injuries playing a big part, Collingwood just been hit hard, crows have lost rankine for while, hawks copping a couple to key players.

The first half was great. Hopefully we can maintain that sort of level. Bye coming at the right time

If dogs win we stay top 5. Not that we deserve it
Come on mate. 3 of our 4 losses this season have come at the hands of teams above or equal with us on the ladder. We're regularly beating teams outside the top 6 and I think we're deserving of our ladder position for that reason. I understand that you're disappointed about the result yesterday (we all are), but I really don't think things are as doom and gloom as some have suggested over the last 24 hours. We only had one extra win when compared to this time last year (our best season ever) and then we went on to lose three games so there's definitely some leeway there to put ourselves in the best position we've ever been in over the next few weeks.

The bye will freshen us up and we'll transition into a normal home and away schedule for the following 10 weeks where we get to play at PFS every fortnight. The Lions are looking vulnerable and what better way to kick off the second half of the season than beating our arch rivals in front of a sold out PFS!
