Although we still have a long way to becoming an A++ team, we have certainly turned a lot around during the past few seasons. Traveling interstate was always a massive problem of ours; thankfully during the past few seasons we have rectified this. In fact we had just one win interstate during the seasons of 2004-2007.
Since then, we have a 63% winning record in our past 11 encounters (winning 7 of them) with our wins being an average of 25 points.

Hopefully we can keep up this good form interstate:thumbsu:

There is no excuse for not being able to win away, perhaps back when grounds varied in size so much. Sydney have a slight advantage at the SCG but that's it. Good sides can win any where. If we are a decent side we will be able to beat any one we are better than on any ground in the country. I'm sorry but I just don't believe in the whole not being to win away excuse. Interstate teams have been better in the mid parts of this decade and were beating us, nothing to do with the venu location, now most Vic clubs are up and going the whole "can't win away crap" will dissapear.

I mean come on, who can remember when we were good? I used to love it when we went to perth or Adelaide. Those sides were good but we used to win there a heck of a lot. Venue location means nothing, if you are a good side you will win and vice versa. We haven't been winning interstarte much because those sides have been good and we have been crap, it's plain and simple.

And when you consider we kicked ourselves out of the game against Sydney last year at the SCG, got over-run by a rampant Brisbane in last years elimination final, and again in round 2, our record could have been all the more better.

Think the word you were seeking was betterer.
