Our best draw ever!

Why?

Because it ended Geelong's season. Don't give a stuff about anything else, the what could have beens, or how we stopped running in the third - it all doesn't matter! Our Top 4 chances are alive regardless, and Geelong are GAWN!

Enjoy it fellas, it's almost as good as a victory. I hope many of you made sure you stuck it up every Geelong fan in the vicinity too. One idiot even made a remark about when our last premiership was too!!! When he realised theirs was a longer wait than ours, he got a little embarrassed!

Love it!

Yeah I was surprised to see the Geelong faithful give their team a standing ovation at the end of the game. Sure it was a good comeback, but they had to win to keep their finals hopes alive and failed.

Anyway, I can't actually remember the last time we drew a game before yesterday. I've been following the Dees since 1993 and no games come to mind.

They cheer them off because the embrace mediocrity. Their supporters are a joke.

Last draw was in 1992 against the Swans at the 'G.

Mate, I think we should take a good hard look at ourselves before saying that. That draw yesterday was disgraceful. 38-points up and should have lost. Predicted outcomes suggest we now will probably finish 7th playing Freo away.

Lets hope that doesn't happen because if we bomb out first round again when we should have been playing a home final the joke is on us.

And we embrace negativity.

on the plus side, adelaide are ripe for the picking. Playing ****, and definite outs next week include Hart, Hentschel, Burton, and possibly ricciuto and bassett as well, although our record is terrible. On the plus side as well, freo are gonna win, so we won't be playing them in the first week of the finals. As long as collingwood don't absolutely pump the roos by an unbelievable amount next week we will be playing them at the G in the first final

the geelong supporters are feral! my dad and i had seats only near eachother coz it was sold out so there wasnt 2 next to eachother... but there was a spare seat next to my dad and i asked a girl if anyone was sitting there coz her handbag was on it. and she looks at me and says, "but its not your seat, is it?". so we had to move for that b1tch. anyway we got front row next to a couple of demon fans anyway and im happy enough that geelong got knocked out of the finals. destiny is in our hands and we now either have a second chance or game at the G so im quite content.

I've never witnessed a draw first hand so it was a first. and yes. some very drunk, feral cats supporters in standing room and unfortunately we got to see the sore loser side in the first half and the sore winner side in the second half (until the end)

it was a decent effort by the cats and if given an extra second or two they would have won.

Even if we win now, we play West Coast first up in Perth, no easy task
But they aren't in stunning form at least and we have a lot to improve upon from our last preformance against them at the same venue so there is always hope.

Also, we could win and have freo have a shock loss to Port at Subi which would make us finish 3rd and play Adelaide again (unless adelaide overtake the eagles)

True, but I'll still take the double chance!

If you can't beat us then you have absolutely no chance in September.

I just love how people who support teams not making the finals come out and have an "opinion" on those who are going to be there.

And by your theory, does that mean the Swans have no chance either? You tool.

See you in '07, hopefully for your sake you can get a coach who doesn't pick up his players' girlfriends! :thumbsu:

I'll take that over playing an Elimination final at the Dome.

Apparently there won't be any finals at the Dome anyway.

Suits us just fine! :thumbsu:

Didn't Wayne Lamb botch a chance to win the draw against Sydney in 92? I was there and there's no good reason that I'd remember Wayne Lamb otherwise.

I recall a defender grame yeats? put his body on the line with seconds to go, saved the game from a loss. I think the game was a week after the essendon game when we lost after being 48? points up in the third quarter.
