Why has our board got so many posts in comparison to all the other teams? Just a question........

For a start we have more supporters on BigFooty than any other club. Also, a lot of people have sort of defected from the official site forum because of several reasons (site set-up, dislike of certain posters), and because it's usually easier to find out information by asking someone here!
A lot of us have also met at games and club functions, so the banter is a bit more lively than at other boards.

I think the Brissie Thread may have bumped it up a bit too...
Ah yes, THAT thread...
That all came about when a few of Brisbane's posters noticed our collective post tally was neck and neck with theirs (about 1000 posts each, from memory). Their response was to post utter crap, and heaps of it.
We responded with this thread, but at least it contained some humour, a lot of digs at the Briswhiners, and of course the scintillating conversation that is normally associated with the Roos board.
What came of it all, was that after Briswhine had fallen away by a few hundred posts, they called a truce. Moderators were appointed to both club boards at around the same time (Shinboners & Danni), although I am not sure if this was directly related to "The War", as it was known.
Shortly thereafter, the Fitzroy board came into existence, and many Briswhiners opted to post largely on the Fitzroy board to associate themselves primarily with their beloved former club. But even adding the Briswhine and Fitzroy post tallies together, they still don't come close to the mighty mighty Roos.
If you have time one day, you should dig up a few of the threads from the Briswhine board from January or February and look at some of the shyte they posted. Every board (even ours) has a dud or pointless thread once in a while, but this garbage would have to be seen to be believed.

I don't think Father Gez could do it. As much as he obviously loves the Roos, his telling of The North Story was nowhere near as biased and malicious as the Roos' BigFooty historian's role would demand. How about Rooboy96?
