Same culprits JR, Carazzo, Fisher. We aren't going anywhere with these duds still in our 22. We need elite skills now we have no targets up forward. The tigers are going to beat us, our first 7 games we will be last 0-7 goodbye 2010.

the disposal was very average tonight, but i think its unfair to single those 3 out, sydney's was average too....might have been slippery from the heat and humidity

Carazzo, Fisher and JR have been on our list for 5-7 years yet their skills have not improved. But still they hang on, and still our supporters think they are good. Trust me we are going to get hammered this season, but we will still keep the hacks on our list. A big worry is we have no game plan.

Troll.

Players were not switched on and did not get out of 1st gear
JR found the ball as did Carrots
Scotland dropped 2 marks that hurt us
But it is only Feb

Pretty average night all round for disposal, marking, tackling etc... I think it would be unfair to point the finger at only a couple of players.

While it is only February, and it's not all doom and gloom (as some would like to think it seems). One thing is certain, that team needs Ryan Houlihan's delivery skill more than ever!

There were lots of clangers from both teams tonight. However, some of our clangers were down right embarrassing.

I thought Souths had more structure when going from half back into the forward fifty. Our forward fifty entries were very ordinary. Kicking to the flanks or to a player leading on or towards the boundry line. We need to learn to center the ball and make sure that one of our talls is somewhere in the middle. Give the midfielders a target to kick to. The other thing our forwards don't seam to do is lead into the space that is created by another forward on the lead.

I think we have lots to work on over the next four or five weeks. This was only the NAB cup and we don't want to be March premiers again - given our end of season result last time

I think it will take time for things to gell and there is alot of up side to this team. We will be a lot more competitive come round one.
