It's frustrating, as a fan, for sure, but no different to what I remember of the Tigers in the eighties. In those days, they'd generally be about 10 goals behind at half-time and lose by about 10 goals. It's really about our best players not being able to get their hands on the ball when it counts and we probably have the worst defence in the league - with the Suns possibly the only exception.
I think we are many, many players short of being a quality outfit, and unfortunately it's going to take time and good drafting over many years to get those players. We are still suffering the poor / unlucky draft decisions that we made five or 10 years ago that leave us today five or more quality players short of where we need to be.

I'm done .... thats it for me. Where is the heart and desperation? Today was the FTF day, perhaps the club should refund it all back.

Every player should be made to slap the nearest player in the face as hard as they can before they run out, and sniff some smelling salts. That will wake them up. Piss poor.

The problem I think is that there seems like there are no repercussions for the players. Hardwick says "look it's an area that we are working on, we need to get better in that department blah blah blah". Mick Malthouse would just say to the senior players "Let me make this crystal clear, if you do not individually perform in the first quarter this week you will not play in the seniors for the next four weeks". If Hardwick took a hard line on it and there were repercussions at the selection table then you would see a big difference. Pick the team based on the performance of players in the first quarter, not in the junk time that follows in the last 3 quarters once we are down by 40 points. Pretty simple really.
