3rd or 4th should ensure 1 home final although that does depend on the make up of the top 4.


I'd prefer to play all finals interstate if it means we play real finals footy instead of being on the back foot from the start of each game which has occurred in all bar our Essendon finals.

I'm at a total mystery as to how we'll go this year. Short of major injuries I don't see us missing the eight and a good chance of top 4 or even minor premier again. Finals are a different ball game, but if we bury a few sides along the way this year instead of 'just doing enough to win' I'll feel a lot more confident about our chances in the major round.

It surely can't be that hard for Choco to figure out a side we beat by 2 or 3 goals is going to think a few bounces of the ball the other way and we could have won - and consequently isn't going to be worried about playing us in the finals, where as a team we smash by 10+ goals is going to have thoughts we are in a class above them - even if they don't come out and say it.

With only a touch of tongue in cheek :
0 - 1 60+ point wins in the H & A : September flops again
2 - 3 : Win our first home final
4 + : GF appearance at the least
