The best thing for the players is to lose.

This might sound stupid, but it will force them to work a bit harder and they will be out of the spotlight - so to speak - playing practice matches away from the bigger crowds and TV.

Last year probably hurt even more knowing we played well before the actual season.

So, from my eyes, a good thing would be to not make the NAB Grand Final - lose in the first couple of rounds and get back to reality.

Geelong 25th Feb :p

Fixture

If we win that it's either Kangas or Sydney.

It's also part two of a double header..............Hawthorn v Richmond is played just before us v Geelong.

How does that work exactly?...............pay for 1 get to stay for both games? Seems a bit odd if that was the case, as both games would attract decent crowds in their own right I'd have thought.

Wow, Carlton are still jumping up and down about the possibility of winning the nobody gives a ******** cup?

No, we are excited about winning more money than the premiership runner-up. What did your mob get last year.
