McGuane just signed a two year deal this year I think, so they will need to trade for him if they want him.

While they have access to one un-contracted player from each club, I read a report the other day that suggested they would only take 8 or 9 under this ruling.

Unlikely they would be looking too closely at us to be honest. We have signed up our key players - at least for this year.

IT'S the same witha lot of players, Coke.
I look at St Kilda, a team that contains a high number of players from other clubs, who the majority dismisses as duds .... for example, Schneider, Dawson, King, Ray, Dempster, Gardiner, Peake etc. ..... and a good number such as McQualter, Geary, Gwilt, Stanley etc. that people don't rate. The Saints still win 90% of games as these guys play their role!!!

Funny McMahon should rate a mention. 99% of people here will conveniently ignore the fact his 2008 season was largely a good one and that he played some top football for the Dogs.
We paid over the odds and in hindsight it's doubtful we should have targeted him, but nothing tosay he won't fill a role elsewhere!
