The last two weeks have shown a dramatic improvement in our overall skill level. We hardly put a foot wrong yesterday in kicking to a target further up the ground. Bowden, tivendale, gaspar, kellaway, coghlan, all have improved out of site.

A lot of it has to do with confidence but no doubt the boys have been doing a lot of work.

Great Post.

The coaching staff over summer have earnt there money already. That was the best game I have evr seen Richmond play Skill wise. Seeing a Richmond side use the ball so well around the ground was something special.

More of that please.

Momentum and Confidence backed up with your skill level which is matched equally with a game plan that is near on impossible to shut down, is the key to winning the Flag. We seem to be ticking a few of those boxes.

Not saying we are premiership material ( keeping a lid on it obvisouly ) but we are on track to becaming a contender.

v coll- should win

v Bris in brisbane- I give us a good chance.

Go Tiges :D

I agree.
We are ranked #4 in the competition for clearances, probably higher now, something I am quite pleased with.
I also give us a good chance to beat Brisbane if we beat Collingwood.
We generally match up quite well against the Lions, losing to them by only a few kicks over the past few years. I will look forward to that game. :D
Our skills are relatively good, but go to ******** when the team is under pressure, looks at Geelong and St Kilda game.

obviously when your winning games your skill levels look fantastic but we looked very average skill wise against the cats and saints. It depends on what kind of pressure your under IMO.

Where our coaches should be congratulated is in the area of running the ball and taking risks when ever possible no matter how the team is performing. Under Danny if we were 3 or 4 goals down spud would shut up shop for the day which would make our chances of winning nil, under Tezza if we are 4 goals down its more like what have we got to lose if you get the ball run your @rse off and take your man on.

When you get a guy like Terry Wallace you get his judgement in all areas.

Replacing Brittain with Royal is almost as exciting as replacing Frawley with Wallace.

BTW - What is Brittain doing now? Is he lost to the big time forever?
Crocker landed on his feet at the Kangaroos.
Wheadon seems to still be there.
Frawley is in a nice safe place in a commentary box where his football judgement cant destroy anything.

If you are referring to Frawley, Yeah ive heard him in action and its good entertainment in a 'Warrick Capper is on TV, yet I cant look away ' type of way.

Now we can be entertained instead of the opposition.

I dont think Dunstall respects him that much to be honest.
Strange considering he would have been one of Jasons better opponents in thier day but thats what his coaching stint has done.

Coaching the Vics by the way in the EJ Whitten game. Sam Kekovich was laughed at by the players when he addressed them prior to the game. I'm guessing the same reaction to Frawley.

.

Seeing Browny take the pull out of Houlihan's hands and kick a goal was pure magic. Lol at Houlihan wondering where the ball went.
