imo our year is not over. All carlton supporters have been saying that. its only round 5 and plus even port and the lions are at the bottom of the ladder. We just have to get our wizard cup form and we should be OK. So dont give up already becuase it is way to early.

1-1-3 is never a good start.
but if you assess the games
Kangaroos: Blues expected to win but struggled with the Roos flood and missing Thornton and Livingston. The Roos are 5-0 so its not bad.
Essendon: Blues expected to win and did win, albeit just
Collingwood: Blues expected to win, put themselves in a winning position then lay down. The worst performance of the year.
Port: Blues didn't expect to win and in the end probably should have because they had their opportunities. A draw in Adelaide against the reining premiers is a good result.
Fremantle: Probably didn't expect to win, kicking in front of goal cost the team the game. Disappointing to lose, but the large majority of teams going to Perth to play WCE or Freo will not come away with the points.

Next 3 weeks will decide the season, should have comfortable wins over Hawthorn and Richmond, then face Geelong at the Dome on a Friday night. If they drop games against Hawthorn or Richmond its probably curtains for finals.

Couldn't have described it better, Hawthorn and Richmond are both MUST WIN games, if we drop one, we are in deep water, but if we have 2 wins we are around the 8 position which i expected...

Yeah but I think we're starting to find some form. Thornton has returned and we're playing much more accountable footy ATM. If we can become more efficient with our disposals inside 50 and at goal, we can probably beat anyone.
