An indicted US criminal would be unlikely to be able to own the club.

But he has relinquished control of enic to his daughter anyway. Obscure fact about her, she was married to Craig Johnston. Possibly even more obscure ownership marriage links, Daniel Levy is married to a former page 3 model! English bloke told me about it a little while back and turns out it's not BS

Can imagine Levy's model wife wouldn't have been too impressed with Ryanair tickets on their honeymoon & a wedding ring from Prouds.

I'm pretty sure if Lewis is convicted he will fail the owners and directors test.

Has nothing to do with the UK government really.

Not sure he has a formal involvement anyway, didn't he transfer stuff to his family or a trust run by his family last year. Perhaps he saw this coming.
Think that is the case yes. Ceased control Oct 2022.

Only if Joe Lewis gets 115 charges against his name.
Keep trying to turn a Spurs story into a Man City one. LOL.

In any case unless my amateur legal training is totally out of date, any action against Lewis will have to wait until he's convicted, not charged.

I wonder if well get an asterisk next to all of Tottenh... oh. Carry on.

Cough.

I must have imagined people talk about putting an asterisk on Liverpools trophies and Chelseas trophies. I wasn't aware a dig at Tottenhams lack of recent trophies was a discussion of Man City.

Even if I was looking at things through City goggles, I'm a City supporter. What's your excuse?

He's as bad as you are obsessing about City (or in his case me).

Last week I made a dig at Man United and he cried about that, this week I make a dig at Spurs (quite a good one imho) and he cried about that.

Can't wait to who is next.

One thing to be wary about is that this case might change the priorities of the trust (presuming he is not formally involved but still runs it), he might need funds now and a sale will be a pretty big fundraiser. i could see that as a possibility right now.

But I agree, I don't think there is any chance of him being booted involuntarily, maybe if it could be proven that despite not having a formal involvement in the trust he still has significant control over it he might have questions to answer.

And if it doesn't encourage them to sell we are in some serious trouble. Their focus is elsewhere. Even when it's been on the club it's been on the P&L more than the pitch.

The longer they hold us with this case going on, the longer we have to adjust our dreams to qualifying for the Confefence League. Signing squad fillers like Tosin from Fulham rather than Tapsoba from Bayer

Speaking of dodgy owners there was reports of a football identity being interviewed by police for being involved 15 year olds

Photo on twitter showing Sullivan leaving Basingstoke police station during the week

Isn't the Sullivan family selling the club to one of the other shareholders or something like that?
