Before ND became the reverend and spoke freely to all media about all sorts of stuff, he used to only use three words "owning the corridor". Think back to the days of 2000, 2002 and 2004 when despite us being softer than butter our players would drop back into the backline with Bizzell and then Rivers chopping off attacks and then handballing to running players who would charge through the corridor (think woewodins 7 or so bounces and goal), moving the ball quickly and kicking to forwards. I think we lost it some time in 2005 and we need it back, the handballing rubbish we tried in round 1 and the nab cup wasn't pretty but it was an attempt at a game plane which im sure is more than we will get this sunday and getting back to owning the corridor must be an aim, did anyone else notice Mark Blake taking over Jeff Whites role as the link man at CHB last week, it made me sick to watch them playing the exact way we should be.

"What's the corridor" should be the typical response of Melbourne supporters with memories not lasting back to 2004 and beyond. Our players have no faith going through the middle. Most kicks there seem to be too high and result in turn overs. As for the handballs in the middle...don't get me started on that.
