Was pretty shameless the way everyone seemed to be barracking for them last night, even the commentary. All everyone talked about was how they "dominated but couldn't score" and how fortunate Essendon was to beat them. At half time you woulda thought we were down by 20 points.

There are also people suggesting Footscray was hard done by the umpiring, just because Lloyd got a soft one at one point.

Could'nt agree more. As a saints man I couldnt believe the replays when I got home. TRoy kicks an amazing 60m goal and it wasnt even replayed until AFTER THE GAME. They showed Aussie jone's point 3 times after troys goal then talked about the point rather than what a great game it was. MEDIA WANT CONFRONTATION AND THATS IT!! the occasional feel good story also. AFL will be dead by 2015.
