Well, I had the benefit of Napster for a couple of years, before moving onto Morpheus for another 12 months, spending the last 12 months or so on Imesh.

Each have served me well in their own way, but each have seemingly gone belly up.

What P2P file-sharing sites are you now using ?

How do they rate ?

What Minkus_Swan said, KaZaa Lite K++ is the best P2P Sharing program out there by a fair bit.

Soulseek is also very good, you can find any rare song you cant find on KaZaa 9.99 times out of 10, but I find the speed to download your files is too slow because you can't get them off multiple users (4kb/sec instead of 50kb/sec on KaZaa Lite)

I like the AVI-Previewer which comes on Kazaa-Lite. You can preview the movie while you're downloading it, so you know if it's the actual movie or a fake with the wrong title or file name.

None, there all PC resource hogs with pop ups, and Generally arent worth a pinch of sh*t, email me, and I'll send you some free sites with more movies and MP3's you could ever imagine, and you dont have to install programs that could allow someone else to remotely control your computer.

Why not just post the url's of these wonderful sites so you can share there greatness with your fellow BigFooty posters.

That is what this board is here for afterall.

My l33t-o-meter just shot off the scale...

Best program by far is DC++ imo.

Although it is very difficult to get used to at first, and is not recommended for non-computer 'experts'.

It also works in a different fashion to that of Kazaa, etc. As you have to find, and connect to a paticular 'hub' (or server) for the type of file you are looking to find.

Much better in terms of music, because you can connect to a hub that shares predominantly in the genre of music you are looking for, and there are no fake songs. Also, every single song that I have searched for, has been found. (and searches only take about 2 seconds to complete)

I use Kazaa Lite, it serves me pretty well. I just download music, not movies.

Soulseek sounds alright, I'm looking for quite a few rare songs that I have had dead ends on with Kazaa, if someone could post a link or something I'd really appreciate it. :)

emule-plus for me.

Got it going now.. averaging about 60kB/s :D but you have to leave it running for long periods to get it up to that.

It is best for movies, episodes of your favorite shows, software, PC Games, PS2 and XBox Games...
