Pages problem!

Err, I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me with this, but why does every thread appear to have one page, but when I enter the thread it comes up normally, with the correct amount of pages?

I have a similar problem. Every now and then on this site my internet connection breaks when i try and change threads. And when i go back to the old thread, it is not updated. I have no idea what the problem is, but it seems to happen quite regularly, and when the advertisement banner at the top changes. I don't have a problem with the sportingbet, Limbo Club, Insiderail or Sport's memorabilia ads, but my connection breaks for some reason with whatever the other ad you have on this site (if you have another).
