Attention Micheal Pahoff

Get yourself back on that plane and pi$$ off back to where you were. You are a disgrace. You are holding an axe above the clubs' head and no prospective coach would be interested in taking the job in the current climate. Yes we need change but we will have an opportunity to get rid of casey next year. The timing right now is inappropriate. If you stuff things up, I'd hate to be you turning up to watch the tiges play.

I don't agree.

Well I agree that the current climate would have interested coaches being cautious.

But Pahoff won't be bothering them..he's just holding a petition.
Schwab will be the real concern.

Furthermore, Pahoff shouldn't even have the petiition anymore. I doubt he has a ticket for an EGM so he should just mail it over to Schwab.

And before we attack PAHOFF for having got the petition and making the club nervous...just remember:

100 signatures in the whole scheme of things is a pi$$ in the atlantic. 100 out of 27,000 members is .0037% of the total. It's a disgrace that such a small amount of people can topple an entire board.

I do agree casey must go but i dont agree with more bloodletting. It's not a good time.

I'm not sure but I don't think Michael Pahoff had a lot of say in the formulation of the RFC Constitution. Therefore he shouldn't be criticised that it only takes 100 signatures to call for an EMG.

The members 100% of them will be given their opportunity to return the current board should an EMG be held.

When Pahoff was out there getting 100 signatures, Danny Frawley was still hoping to coach us in 2005, and Casey was trying to appoint the guy with the broken back in Queensland as CEO without the rest of the board being consulted.

I agree there is less reason for him to go ahead now, than there was then, but gee he shook the tree at Punt Rd. Not much, but enough to make them realise they need to be accountable to members.

Miller is a wise old man in this game. He knows very well that the momentum for Pahoff to follow through with an EGM is less now and he wont go through with it. It has nothing to do with his ability to appoint the next coach, and I am 100% sure if he appointed Wallace, Pahoff would have even less support from members to rock the boat.

The problem with RFC over 20 years is politics. You'd do well to stay out of the politics as a football director Greg.

Just because someone can get 100 signatures does not mean the members wanted what he did.

He should have gauged in the first week when he didn't get the signatures he needed that this was a bad move.

I have no fault in his pulling his hair out like the rest us and saying something has to be done, but i think by the fact that there was not a rush of signatures meant he should have backed off and called it off.

With that in mind, he will pay dearly if things happen to the club as a result of his actions. And he can take the glory too if it works out.

Forget the board and get a coach as a priority.

We can chuck out the board in January but we need to get the coach signed to a contract.

Worry about the board then ....we can public hangings for all I care

PAHOFF Schwab and Caroline Wilson should all pull their heads in and let the coach thing happen before the board is mentioned again.

The flip side to all this is that Hawthorn are in the same if not a worse position than us with Board and coaching problems. It just that the media love beating our drum for some reason. Probably because we have a history of rolling disasters.

I am hoping that Browny and Miller will be the deciders in this equation. No doubt there are strong ties to Hawthorn for both Eade and Wallace.

I off up the hill to the big temple to do some praying....Can't hurt..

With Schwab sacked, I have a deja vu feeling from 1999 went we appointed Frawley. We were the least attractive proposition for the coaches.

Pahoff's ego trip makes us an uncertain prospect for coaches. With prospective board spills at RFC, we face a tough time competing with Adelaide and Hawthorn. Sure Hawthorn have a destabilising nut as well (Don Scott) but at least Hawthorn will be a nostalgic home coming proposition for Eade and Wallace.

Both Eade and Wallace have expressed concerns to Miller about the current climate.

The response is one of 'so where does that leave us' in reference to an EGM which Miller cant really respond. Miller is the man we have gone after to get the best in the club and his hands are being tied.

Eddies motto is only the best for Collingwood.

Whats our motto? Scare off the best and get the duds!!!!!

I want this Pahoff Di(khead to release the names of the 100 idiots that signed that petition. That way all of the Members of the RFC know who to blame when we end up with a dud of a coach again, and our club turn into the next Fitzroy.

Remember Danny at the press conference announcing his appointment being asked about the Press on his history of success and fumbling for some type of success beneath the wooden spoon out of his stint at Collingwood.
