Haha, unfair with the Kruuuuuuez being completely different players as much as it would look good. The big guy is up against it in the ruck but not dropping his head. The Kruzner looks okay but so did Big Josh when he started, I remember he was a certainty to captn the pies early one - now he can't even get a senior game.

Cotchin already averages more marks, more goals, contributes to more goals, has cleaner disposal, is over a year younger and had no pre-season.

all i am saying is how much better can he possibly be? Palmer has already had 17 possessions in the first half of his second game. Simple question is, why didnt we go the safe option and draft Palmer since we are trying to rebuild our club.

Cotchin is going to have to be d@mn good otherwise it will go down as a terrible recruiting error. I think recruiters complicate things a lot. Palmer dominates against his peers at the Carnival = pretty good chance he will be an out an out star at AFL level (after development time). Yet he is overlooked by us and a few other clubs.

Maybe Cotchin will be better and prove me wrong, but from all accounts, we have likely made another terrible recruiting bungle.

Sliding doors moment. If we’d taken Palmer we would not have won any flags. Lids and Vickery would have stayed until retirement. Dusty would have left in first few years. Cotch was such a legend for us, so grateful we had him!
