My guess, if it's bad the club will come out officially and make it known. If its very minor and he's a possibility to play this weekend, then they may be cagey about it and none of us will be sure until the weekend.

Yea, you're right, it means anywhere between a couple of weeks and 12 months - though it does rule out no injury at all I suppose.
