I was unable to sleep as too hot last night, so went to watch TV and there it was Passions... I think they were still in the same plot loop that they were in 2 years ago when I was crook from work for a couple of days. Slow moving dreadful show.

There was a Peter Sellers movie about WW2 and a french whorehouse with cute ladies with their boobs out on ABC so that got the nod over Passions.

I saw Rafferty's Rules and thought "What is this crap?". But it looked like vintage 80s crap so I unbelievably ended up watching the whole 1 hour (I thought it only went for 30 mins). Now that's a show where your eyes are glued to the TV (much like Passions and the 80s reruns of Neighbours) and hopefully I won't have to see it again. There was an appearance from a young Danielle Spencer though.

My wife got sucked into this a few years ago when she was a stay at home mum. I often got home in time to see the last 10 or 15 minutes and became a little intrigued myself. Took a while to realise that while a lot seemed to be happening nothing actually did happen. I guess thats the template for all soaps but this was my only experience of them.
