Hey guys.. im just wondering about Paul Chapmans REALISTIC return... everyones saying that his definately returning this week on bigfooty.. but on the news.. its the same as it has been for the last 2 weeks.. "paul chapman is a chance to return".. that is soo unconvincing.. obviously somethings wrong.. if his missed 3.. why wouldnt he miss again? whats the latest?

Hamstring strains are usually a 2-3 week injury. Considering he came back on to play after doing the injury I would say it is no more than a strain. Therefore most are confident that he will return.

100% right to play this week!

He must have re-injured it because it was initially a one week injury, and then Bomber can out and said he would be right to go after he missed the first one and since then he has missed two more games and is still a test.

C'mon Chappy get out there.

Why the urgency Essendon supporter? He'll play when he's right to go. It's not like we've been struggling without him. Handy little addition getting pretty much your best player back during a spell of good form.

Hammy strains are rarely 1 week injuries. 2-3 are the norm

We aren't exactly struggling without him. I'd like to see him sit out again against the Saints. Give him some oppertunity to get the hammy 120%. If we have the ability it should be done. How bad would it be if he twinged it again against lowly StKilda particularly when we have to play Adelaide next week. I have full confidence in the coaching staffs list management this year.

As per other threads, there are no "lowly" sides. Thats the arrogance that will costs us games like this.
Agree though if he is not 100% he doesnt play. We have a team thats performing brilliantly without him, and doesnt need to be rushed back. There are (touch wood)no forced changes yet due to injury. Let him rest if need be.

Fair enough - I've got him too but would rather he came back right then him come back early, get some points for me and see him get re-injured. But I don't follow Essendon so there's the difference.
He cost me a win last week but of course I'm not angry at the bald fella, he can come back whenever he wants...

btw Chappy if you're out there I need a win this week so play well :thumbsu:

Dreamteam.

Would be happy to see him out against my mob, but I don't think that would make up the difference.
