I remember watching him earlier in the year and thinking he would be a gun for you for the rest of the season but then he just seemed to disappear of the face of the footy planet. Is he far off? and how is his WAFL form?

May be a shot to replace Hayden, although for me he does not quite play the same role. Hayden has fab disposal and run from defence, which is difficult to replace. Walker plays the same kind of role as Hayden, minus the disposal skills and hardness.
Theoretically he could come in for Gilmore if he was injured, but Crowley would be ahead of him for that gig. As much as Connolly was bagged for Schammer in the backline, it was Roger who he was trying to cover, with Walker out of fashion. Roger is very difficult for us to replace.

Jimmy Walker has been playing well for Peel, and always seems to save his best for derbies... but seems to have fallen a very long way down the pecking order, so you'd expect either Duffield in for a straight swap for Hayden into his position, or Crowley in with a bit of shuffling of positions.
