One of my faves, a raw Macca, just lost Linda sings Kansas City with a bunch of great musicians at the Concert for Monserrat organised by George Martin. Notable as one of the last live performances of the great Carl Perkins who died the following year.

Which brings me to a little video made for the 50th anniversary of "Love Me Do" featuring the great Sir George Martin

 
His best backhander was this swift one.



He loves performing this song and why not its one of his 70's wings rockers that he still can perform very well and yes the drummer Abe and Paul's electric guitar makes recent live peformances rock better than the original recorded version which is very tame in comparison
 
Have always enjoyed the Norman Gunston interview from 1975, especially when Norman states to Linda, "Funny, you don't look Japanese."
