am sure that there are many others like me for which he is their favourite player. Like some of the posters on here I cringe at the idea that he may at some stage leave, though don't believe he will. BUT if he does, I suggest that people remember what we had to sacrifice to get a player we wanted, such as Croad (OMG!), Bell, Headland, Carr etc. Look at the asking (and getting) price for Ottens and Hay.
In SA, if Pav wanted to go back, there would be an auction for his services, as well as from clubs in Victoria. I'm definitely not suggesting we trade him, just demonstrating how much a club would have to sacrifice to get him, and I think this would be prohibitive for them. For example, two top five draft pics plus a player of the calibre of say Grover or Johnson. For a club to get those two top five pics they will need to trade massively, and devestate their list. It would be very difficult for this to happen. I also think it would be totally unrealistic that Pav would threaten to stand out of the game, or go to the bottom team in the PSD if he wants to head home.
In short, I can't see him going anywhere. Build a team around him.
