Pav is definitely an absolute champion player.

One of the best over the last 10-15 years. Like Cox, people discounted him after struggling with injuries but he has lifted in 2012 back to that form which led to him being a 6 times AA. TBH he was pretty darn good over 2010/2011 period, certainly good enough to snag a B&F.

Why do people keep saying this BS? Vics are probably the least close-minded on players from other states since, unlike every other state, we are not a 1 or 2 team state with a narrow focus. Pavlich is spoken of in incredibly high terms by almost everyone over here. Only shame for Pav is he hasn't played in more finals (not his fault), more efforts like tonight certainly catapults your status even higher.

Pav was huge tonight.. he kicked 6 goals and won some crucial contests. No shame in him having a good game from Geelongs perspective, he is a gun.

Universally loved, Pavlich is much like Hayes in the respect that you can't find any reason to dislike him. He's stuck with his club for so long, even when he has boatloads of money thrown at him. He could have bailed on Fremantle a while ago but he's stuck at it and I hope he gets a premiership in return.

He might not of been up there with the output of Riewoldt/Tredrea/Brown at their absolute peaks, But Pavlich has been consistantly good, He's been brilliant again this year, He's played his best football at 30 years of age.

He's had people accuse him of choking and not preforming in big games, howeve tonight he booted 3 to help freo get a huge lead, and scored goals just when Fremantle needed them.

Yeah definitely on consistency and length of output I rate him ahead of Brown and by careers end probably Reiwoldt as well.

Absolutely monstered the cats tonight under an injury cloud. Hopefully he can be managed through the week so he has a shot to back it up against Adelaide.

One thing is for certain though, if Adelaide struggled against Sydney then Freo will be a nightmare for them.
