Pay it forward

I see this film is beign repeated on Sunday night on 10.
But has anyone 'paid it forward' like the film portays it?
I have not been as grandiose in paying it forward but do try at least once a week or whenever opportunity arises to do a small unexpected favor to a stranger. I do not however say pay it forward, usually i just say take it easy, or have a nice day.
Any examples out there?

Some of mine lately
Helping a lady at a shopping centre with a flat battery, in pouring rain.I got soaked but it was fun
Being behind a couple of kids who were 20 cents short for some rail tickets,i gave them the 2 bob and said don't worry about it.
Giving a new person at work a lift home way out of my way.Whne asked why i simply said why not?

I do good deeds for people all the time. They taught me well at Boy Scouts.

I try and do some good deeds, but there aren't a lot around, and someone always gets in before I do.

Along the same line, did anyone see on the news the guy who was throwing 10,000 $1 bills to the crowd somewhere in America? Something like a dozen people ended up in hospital.
