When the missus and I were looking at relocating 3 years ago or so, if the address didn’t already have fttp I wouldn’t let it on the shortlist. Networks these days are as important as water and sewage.

We bought this joint in 2022 I think it was and my requirement was similar. Coming from a HFC connection I refused to shortlist anything that was FTTN. The wife didn't understand and got a bit frustrated that meant a couple places got struck off the list. In the end we got a FTTC property and a couple years ago had the free upgrade to FTTP so it all worked out.

Steam Machine to ship this northern summer. I thought it might have been delayed to the end of the year due to the memory price issue since that caused a sharp spike on the Steamdeck prices.

I haven't bought one in ages but Steam gift cards are being discontinued. Existing ones will be honoured, just won't be restocked anywhere.
