to be honest peake will never get a game untill he impoves his kicking, to inaccurate just wants to bomb the ball boot the living pigs leather of the ball which is no good we prefer him to deliver towards a players chest like most of ur (Weagles) midfielders do no just blast it in the heavens hoping for McDreamy to mark.

As for Pav on flank i think thats a waste of him either at CHF or FF is his best spot more likely at FF i remember the adelaide game wgere he got shifted to FF at goal mouth and he kicked 8 goals

I'd actually prefer him running riot around the front half of the field than being restricted to a set position.

Polak is an excellent pack mark and quite strong body on body. He's more a true CHF than Pav is. But obviously has nowhere near the talent at this stage in his career.

You have to remember that Polak is the best mark in our team. Forget McPHarlin, Longmuir and Pavlich. Polak has the best set of hands. He will dominate, we just need to give him time.

Freo's game plan is to put players behind the ball, they try and keep the forward line open playing a 5 man forward line, thats why Medders is playing up the ground. Having 4 tall marking forwards Pavlich, Macpharlin, Longmuir & Polak is very difficult to match up on and allows the midfielders to kick long when the short option is not there.

Pav is good body on body. He especially positions himself well when he knows he can't mark it to get the ball when the ball hits the ground. His contested marking is excellent (#2 in AFL last season).

i agree with the idea of him being a top marker al lhe needs is confidence and a bit of hunger and speed in him

Locky worry about your own team mate....Peakey will be back, was BOg FOR the Sharks last week, but the fact of the matter is he is in a long queue, we have some great midfield depth at the moment.

Re McManus, you obviously haven't seen any of Freo's game this year

& re Pav & Polak...we basically have 4 guys now that rotate between FP, FF, HFF & CHF..being Pav, Longmuir, McPharlin & Polak
