Surely it is time for the Smith upgrade now with him instead of Dawson giving Griff the break in the ruck. We are defending more than attacking anyway so we should not mess with shifting around our defence to cover gaps in other areas.

Smith will also bring in the crash and bash that we need. I want opposition teams to hurt for a change instead of our players being sniped all the time like Fyfe.

Bring back the grunt! In - Smith, Grey, De Boer!
Out - Soft ! Sherridan, Crozier and give the mighty Pav the week off from Tassie!
 
34 hit outs for Apness in the reserves. Why is he being played as a ruck? Would it be to get him more touch for being out of the game so long?

Because Sandi and Griff have a combined age of 200 and the replacements behind them are Hannath and Clarke :eek:

I reckon he'll be played forward when he plays for the main Peel side.

They probably figured he woule get more of the ball in the ruck. The Peel ressies are really shit and if they were slaughtered in the middle then Supply would be fairly low in the forward line.

This plus the fact that he needs rucking experience because he'll be doing plenty of it if/when he gets to AFL level. He's a forward/ruckman.

We can had a.Pearce,apeness, tanner all young pitch hitting then by next year.

Yep it would of been great to have the option of using Apeness in the ruck last night instead of Dawson. Not having a go at Dawson but the team was very unbalanced when he was in the ruck against a huge ruckman and big Griff was trying to play full back - it cost goals. I understand not playing two ruckman but the second ruck has to be a little competent like Apeness would be.

The way Ross described ueber in interview ,I think he is delisted material in Ross eye. Anywhere he can go back to semi pro gamer.

Makes sense playing him in the ruck when you're using the game to get his match fitness up.

What are you talking about? Ross stated fact, that he's got work to do! He's a first year player, all first year players have work to do and areas to improve! How's he getting delisted because of that? Jumping at shadows!

Why you so mad when you know I am jumping at shadows? Like you said if he work hard he got chance, if he don't he is delisted material in Ross eye. You yourself already answer the question.

I personally like uebergang potential a lot , that do not mean Ross rate him. Jeremy McGovern take few year to develop also.if he been lazy do you think he make it purely on potential.

Hes not mad, he simply asked questions, but it's quite clear you are. Hes actually correct too, you have clearly jumped the shadows.

I am just worried that another potential player let go under ross that's all, we drafted him as defender and play him as forward for peel that's all.

In 2014 Ueber played almost solely as a forward. i think he is more a forward than a defender.
