Most games don't have biased umpires willing to cheat though. It's just when Williamson gets a Peel game so this is not the norm for WAFL, usually it's just incompetence and the trouble is there isn't any talent coming through. It's cultural.

I understand the WAFL is it's own league, but this is really poor fixturing, they shouldn't be scheduling the alignment teams to be playing 5 days before the AFL team plays.

Although... Imagine the confidence he has gained from a 5 goal bag today? I think he's learning plenty even when playing for Peel. I'd be surprised if they consider him with the short break but could see him going over as the emergency possibly now. Comes back in and can prove himself again playing for Peel in the bye week and then he will likely crack the Freo B22 the week following. Needs another similar game to today's imo and the bye timing might suit him perfectly. Could come back in to Freo pumped with confidence and raring to go.
