I don't think he is KPP, more of a tall midfielder, same hight as Buckley, Ling, etc who these days would never be considered a KPP! But a good midfielder by the looks of things!

he has about 4 cm's on buckley at the moment and he can still grow. Depends how much tehy force the weights regime i guess

I think Pendelbury is at the right size as it is. At 190cm, he could play on a HBF, HFF, Wing, and even in the midfield. I don't think their are many 190cm footballers that play in the midfield either.

Anthony would be the perfect CHB. At 191cm, he might be a tad short for KP, but he definitely makes it up in other aspects of his game. He is quick for his size, reliable kick, reads play very well, and he is tough at the football. Some people have likened him to James Clement as well.

hopefully pendlebury can turn into a player such as andrew embley from west coast who can play ona wing or in the middle, get his 25 touches a game and then go up foward and kick a couple of goals.

Thats a comment I would expect from the real Jerry Springer.

That comment was even more low than that show will ever go...Embley weak hearted - he is one played I would nominate as our strongest willed player in our side. Always trying till the every end.

I would hope he's a little more consistent than Embley though - Embley tends to be pretty up and down.

Overall though, that's a pretty good aim for him.

Youve got to be joking, he has a history of letting injuries linger and not putting in on the training track

taken from you own website

"A massive change in attitude and application in 2003 was rewarded with his promotion to vice-captain in 2004. Relished his senior role and delivered another consistent campaign, although a knee injury sidelined him for eight games mid-year. At his most damaging when playing on the wing and pushing forward behind defenders, he is deceptively strong overhead, as evidenced by his nine marks against Brisbane in round four. "

the fact that it even mentions he had a attitude problem speaks for it self.

LOL, where does it mention an attitude problem? You have no idea what you are talking about. Why do you think we made him vice captain? Its because he runs as hard as anyone in the side. Try to keep your views to things you know about, like that inside the Victoria border.

That's pretty ironic coasting, given the amount of Perth based TAC Cup experts on these boards!

With 2 Victorian sides in the u18 carnival and the TAC grand final on TV we get to see more of your blokes than you see of ours.

is anyone else sick of us taking risks with high draft picks??

i mean, the guy has only 1 season of youth football in him. Was playing basketball for the 4 years leading up to that.

Why do we always have to try and create a feelgood story? They never end up feeling good...

At an average of 23 posessions, a starting midfield role in the TAC Cup premiership team and potential upside, he's not entirely the world's biggest risk.

We have to teach him to play with maximum intensity and improve his physicallity at the contest. That's not out of the realms of possibility. Sure Lonie and Davis remain as soft as butter, but the likes of Holland and Licuria have gone from outsiders to insiders.

Don't stress people!

Hey guys.. Some people consider macrae to be of a similar type to Pendelbury. Was wondering what you thought the holes in his game was when he first started? (if there were any)

It took him two seasons to fully utilise "the matrix".
